Student Dress Code

All students enrolled in Physical Education classes are required to wear P.E. uniforms.
Ties Mandatory for all 8th grade students.
Student ID's mandatory for all 6th - 8th grade students.
Colored hair, acrylic & press-on nails, bangles.
Reiteration of all students keeping their hands, feet, bodily fluid to themselves and no hand playing.
Jackets - not pullovers
Jackets nor hoodies may be worn in hallways.

Students are allowed to have cell phones at school and on the school, bus provided the device is turned off, completely stowed away, and not in use. Cells phones may be placed in cubbies, school bags, purses, or pockets and shall not be displayed in view using a clip or other device. If a student is found using a cell phone, displaying a cellphone, or in possession of a ringing cellphone during the instructional day or on the school bus, then proper disciplinary procedures will occur.

Due to the large school population, Lockhart K-8 students will be allowed to call home regarding transportation concerns, illness and true emergencies. Students will not be allowed to call home for items such as lunch, binders, homework, projects, etc. If you have concerns, please drop off necessary items to the Front Gate or Main office.
